Sample time: the delivThe basic building material for our bags is woven polypropylene.   We extrude the tapes from pp pellets, then weave the tapes into a very strong fabric.  This fabric is far stronger than any other flexible packaging material currently in use.

The fabric is then coated with another layer of pp so to make the bag water and air resistant.

This leaves us with a problem, though.  With a coated bag, current fillers which use compressed air as a transport to fill their bags need the air to escape the bags during the filling process.  Originally, this was accomplished by poking small holes in the coated fabric.  This did let the air out during filling, but it also let lots of dust out as well as moisture in as the cement cooled.

We now use microperforation, making numerous micro-holes, big enough to let air out, but too small to let dust out and moisture in under most circumstances.

We can make tubular bags, which offer the best economy, or we can make backseam bags, which offer the best flexibility in graphics.  And while most cement bags have basic flexo printing, we can also move to very high quality processed roto-gravure printing for the finest in bag graphics. 

All our woven pasted bottom bags are made on genuine Windmoller & Holscher Convertex or Starlinger StarKON machines.
